We had a wonderful Thanksgiving dinner last night. Lyla met her uncle Michael for the very first time in person. He even held her and got a few good smiles! Even though Lyla demanded her dinner as soon as we sat down for soup, I got to join everyone for dessert. This year, I contributed the chestnut soup and the cornbread muffins. Everything was delicious. We have so many things to be thankful for this year...Lyla, good friends, and a family that gives us so much love an support. It's hard to believe that Lyla will actually be sitting at the table and eating her Thanksgiving meal with the rest of us next year!
