Lyla has been such a little stinker the last few weeks! She has been acting up as a result of the new addition to the family. She still makes us laugh all the time, but she has definitely been testing our patience. She has many sleepovers at baaba and grandpa's house so that we can have a break from her antics. Lyla is so sweet to Cody, but his presence in our household is definitely rocking her world and she is taking it out on us!
Cody has been an absolute angel so far. He hardly ever cries. He just looks about and observes the world around him. He is such a little sweetheart.
Can you believe that these are our first family pictures that include Cody? Things have been busy around here. I thought it was about time to gather ourselves together in front of a camera. We are standing in our backyard, and as you can see, the grass has grown in quite nicely since we moved in. Now we just have to manage the weeds. We especially love the tree with the yellow leaves behind us. We never noticed it until recently the leaves changed to this beautiful golden color. We are loving our yard and hope to spend some more time out there come spring and summer! Perhaps I will feel ambitious enough to plant a garden.
