Happy 29th Birthday, Trav!

I started off my attempt to make the big 2-9 special by cooking breakfast this morning. That turned out to be a failure because I forgot to purchase a key ingredient for french toast...maple syrup. Oops! I also asked Leigh Anne to make a flower arrangement and bring it by Trav's work today. That was a success. Leigh Anne came through big time and delivered a gorgeous and masculine flower arrangement to Bella D'Ora at lunchtime (pictured above). Thanks, Leigh Anne! For Trav's birthday evening, I decorated the house with balloons so that Trav would have a nice surprise when he came home from work. That was almost a failure because the balloons did not want to cooperate. They either wanted to escape or self-destruct. However, he did like the festive decorations that managed to survive by the time he came home at 8pm. We then left Lyla in Kandice's capable hands and took off for dinner and a movie. Just like old times. I hope you had a wonderful birthday, my excellent strong man! I promise to make better plans for the big 3-0!
