Even though the big girls are doing it. Lyla watched these girls so sweetly and longingly. Oh bother.
Lyla likes to show me all kinds of things she picks up off the ground. She is always walking around with a leaf in her hand. 
It was a balmy 85 degrees today in Mission Viejo (really? It felt way hotter!). Lyla and I decided to spend our first Saturday off together with a walk to the park accompanied by Elvis the dog and cousin Jake. We had a lovely time.

lyla looks like such a big girl. right up until you take a picture of her next to a real kid or in an object that shows scale (like the swing). crazy teeny!!
