Christmas '09

Christmas Eve.  My mom has started a tradition of making prime rib, mashed potatoes, glazed carrots, and broccoli casserole for dinner Christmas eve.  We usually dress up for the occasion.  Unfortunately, I do not have any photos of the delicious feast, but I have a ton of photos of us posing with Lyla:
Baaba and Lyla.
Aunt Trisha and Lyla.  Lyla can now say "Trisha", though it comes out sounding more like "Tiza".

CHRISTMAS MORNING:

The morning after a fitfull night's sleep.  She's not used to sharing her sleeping area, and all three of us attempted to fit on a full-sized bed.  She was not a happy camper.  I ended up on the couch for half the night/morning so the princess could get some rest.
For some reason, Lyla kept throwing her hands up in the air every time we said "Merry Christmas".  Who knows where she got this idea.  It was pretty cute though.
Presents!

Lyla's reaction to seeing the slide my mom and dad got her.

Loving the slide!

We sincerely hope everyone had a very merry Christmas!  We had a blessed weekend filled with family, friends, food, and fun.  See you all in 2010!

I love baby Lyla and I miss her so much. Makes me sad to know that she probably doesn't remember me anymore. I love her angry look too :)
