Bella D'Ora

In case you are ever in the area and are interested in a massage, facial, or haircut, check out Bella D'Ora off Faraday and El Camino Real in Carlsbad. According to their website, Bella D'Ora means "beautiful hour". It doesn't look like much from the outside because it's located on the first floor of a business building, but it is fantastic inside. So peaceful and relaxing. I've had a facial and a massage there and I am in love! I was so excited that they offer a "mother-to-be" massage on a table specially made for pregnant women with hole cut-outs for boobs and belly! Brilliant. 9/20/2009 I needed a short haircut and Travis from Bella Dora was highly recommended to me. I didn't have a picture handy but told him I wanted an angled bob that was edgy & low-maintenance. He spent 1 hr & 40 minutes cutting my hair & I didn't mind b/c he did a FABULOUS job!!!!!! I never had someone spend that much time on me b/c stylist are usually trying to rush u out. I actually had a lot of hair & cut off about 5-6 inches. He was real laid back too! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Travis!

This is the first time I have ever felt like I've truly found "my" salon and "my" hairdresser. I see Travis for cuts and colors and he's amazing; he listens to what you want, tells you if you're talking crazy, and really works with the texture of your hair. He also gives the best scalp massage ever - no offense to Alissa. ;)

Totally doesn't hurt that you get to have a cocktail or two while you're there.

The atmosphere is super relaxing - no kids allowed unless they're getting a service - and everyone is super friendly and intent on making sure you're having a great experience.

I cannot say enough good things about this place. Check it out and see for yourself.
