Breaking out the high chair

The Stokke Tripp Trapp highchair in walnut.  Taken from the www.stokke.com website.

We finally got a small dining table for our small dining area. Our Stokke Tripp Trapp high chair has been waiting, neglected, in the corner of the room for a table to pull up to. We had dinner last night like a normal family... mom and dad sitting in chairs and baby happily eating her food at the table strapped into the high chair. Gone are the nights that I have to fend Lyla off while I sit on the floor with my meal. I am very excited that I won't have her climbing on me and screaming for some of my food anymore. The Tripp Trapp served its duty well. I think it was lonely in the corner, growing dust, watching Lyla go from sitting, to crawling, to walking without feeling useful. This is the type of high chair that grows with the child too, so it should be a part of our family for many years to come.

video of Lyla laughing with her daddy at dinner.
